THINK WARM!





I don't know about you, but the pile of now outside my house is taller than I am. (And I'm 5'9) SPRING where are you?! Here are some warm and comforting pictures of the beach in Mexico. Sure, we can't be there...but we can comfort ourselves with warm thoughts. Perhaps the power of our warm thoughts will melt us all into a quicker spring. HAPPY MARCH BREAK!

Lose weight and feel great following these few simple suggestions:

1) Don't eliminate sweets -just sugar. Replace sugar with sweetener, honey fruits or natural fruit juice whenever possible. For example, instead of adding sugar to your morning cereal, add some bananas. They are a sweet & filling addition to your morning munch.

2) Brown in, White out. Its okay to be a prejudice eater. Eat as much brown or brown spotted foods as possible. Choose whole grains, whole wheat and as little simple starches like white bread & white pasta as possible.

3) Save your "pitfall foods" for a special day of the month or week instead of chowing down on them daily or as often as you feel the impulse to binge. For example, I save Friday night as ice cream night. That way I get the ice cream in, just not as a daily food group.

4) Buy a target outfit a size or two smaller then your current size and make a three to six month goal to fit into it. Don't hide the outfit away in a closet but instead, hang it on the refrigerator or somewhere in your kitchen! Its an unconventional anti-stuff-your-face reminder!

5) Walk more, do an extra flight up or down the stairs at home, or go for a walk around the mall. Any way that you can, add physical activity into your day.
