Always a Bridesmaid Never a Bride?

TOP FIVE PLACES TO MEET THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS

A lot of singles planning parties and business events have been viewing our site so this blog entry is just for you. Here are Phenomenal Events' TOP 5 PLACES to meet the man of your dreams. Hang out in these spots and you are sure to be walking down the aisle towards your own nuptials pretty soon!

#5 - Cyberspace: many people are using the internet to meet the love of their lives. I know at least two people who met their sweet heart through internet dating services or chat rooms and are very happily entangled in one another's web of love. Caution must be used when meeting people you met on the internet face to face for the first time. Be sure to meet in a public place and even bring a friend with you.

#4-Work: although I would not recommend mixing work with pleasure, some people have found this to be the best place to meet someone because, hey, they spend most of their day at work. You get to know your coworkers pretty well when you see them every single day and have to work with them closely. Hopefully Mr. hot stuff is not your boss-this may cause a potential conflict of interest.

#3-Gym: I spotted him across a crowded weight room. As he pumped iron, my heart raced and beads of nervous sweat dripped down my face -of course that was because I paced frantically on the treadmill... makes for a corny beginning to a wonderful romance but having fitness and health in common is one of the greatest things about meeting your love at a gym.

#2- Church-or your place of worship -Hey, that is where I met my husband! He came to my church to visit and there we were introduced to one another. Who would have ever predicted that ten years later we would be happily married with a house and a couple of kids.

#1-At a Wedding! Get your sling backs strapped on and your bridesmaid dress nicely fitted because your future husband may be at the wedding you plan to attend this summer! And be sure to call Phenomenal Events to plan your special day when it comes, after all, we technically would have been the ones to bring you two together!

Terrific Thai

If you are looking for a great Thai restaurant, I found the lemongrass to be quite delightful, (especially because there seems to be a shortage of great restaurants in Peel Region). I enjoyed a quiet dinner with some old friends this past Wednesday evening. Thanks Laurie and Kerry for a great evening out without the kids, although we spent a lot of time talking about our little angels! Lemongrass has a few locations in Toronto. We went to the Mississauga location at the Square One. They had great food and an upscale, chic atmosphere. I especially liked the tender chicken satay, Vietnamese spring roll and the drunken shrimp and broccoli. ummm....
